The Dena DeRose Trio

Dena DeRose

"The most creative & compelling singer-pianist since Shirley Horn," that’s exactly how Joe Siegel described Dena DeRose. She not only awes her audience and music critics with her facility on the piano and her vocal talent, but "…she exudes joy...what soul!" Dena and her trio have developed a hard-swinging and dynamic sound that audiences really dig. From U.S. clubs like the Blue Note, Jazz Standard, and the Kennedy Center to Body and Soul in Tokyo, the Jazz Center in Istanbul, and Alexander Platz in Rome, she delivers "…vivid and exciting demonstrations of how innovative her musical concepts are".

Martin Taylor

Internationally recognized, Martin Taylor has established a inimitable style and world reputation as the foremost exponent of solo, jazz guitar playing. Completely self taught, he is admired and often imitated by guitarists all over the world. Performing in the concert halls of Europe, North America, Japan, Asia, and Australasia, Martin always dazzles audiences with his virtuosity, emotion, humor, and strong stage presence. In 1999 he was made an Honorary Doctor of the University of the West of Scotland and in 2002 he was appointed MBE "For Services To Jazz Music." When not touring he divides his time between his homes in France and Scotland where he writes music for TV and film.
